New EVO2 Diagonal Snow Plough / Diagonal snow ZOOM-plough

FMG EVO2 plough is the result of long-term development work, in which both the Diagonal, Zoom and Butterfly ploughs were updated. In the previous update in 2019, we changed the blade angle to be more cutting and strengthened the support structures to keep clearances away and make the plough more stable to use. Now for 2025, we are releasing a new EVO2 model, in which the customer feedbacks we have received over the years has been incorporated into the new product through design and testing. FMG ploughs have received praise throughout their history, especially for the upward swinging wing, which already works at very reasonable driving speeds. For this reason, we have not made any changes to the wing geometry, but focused on stabilizing the plough and making it easier to use.

Evo2 ploughs have a new thrust frame, the geometry of which is designed so that the blade angle does not change much when the floating position changes. The floating bar is now enough wide for the driver to see it from the cab and able to keep the float in the optimal position, without accidentally pressing or lightening the plough. The float distance is now bigger, 220mm. Thanks to the new thrust frame, the push point is lower and the turning cylinders are stronger to keep the plough at the desired angle. The upper visor of the wing has now been made higher and the material is reinforced rubber. The rubber visor now extends the entire length of the plough and reduces the entire length and reduces the amount of snow on the windscreen. Based on both our own testing and feedback from test customers, it can be stated that these features together make the new Evo2 model clearly more stable and easier to use than its predecessor.

When discussing with customers about plough, the increased need for a hydraulic snow stopper has come up. For this reason, we also included it in the development project of the new plough. The new snow stopper includes a throwing wing, so its impact on the throwing properties is significantly smaller than its predecessor. The geometry has also been redesigned and the stopper now hides behind the wing in the up position.

The City wing, which was previously an option, is now standard, and this allows the hydraulic snow stopper to be installed on all Evo2 ploughs afterwards as well. The City wing means that the wing throwing extension is bolted and can be removed for the installation of a snow stopper.

FMG Diagonal and Zoom ploughs are designed for professional use and have a robust construction. Both Diagonal and Zoom ploughs are turned by two hydraulic cylinders and have a turning angle of 45 degrees to the left and 45 degrees to the right. The angle of the blade to the road is 40 degrees.

In case of an obstacle, the hydraulic position adjustment cylinder of the blade gives way and the plough blade tilts forward. Zoom plough have a hydraulically operated extension that widens the working width about 50 cm.

The equipment connected to the front lift may catch up the wheel in some instances of tractor and wheel combinations. That’s why we offer the possibility to choose between usual and long 3-point linkage. Please, have a look at the drawings and ensure which 3-point linkage suit for your machine.
